Serbia-Montenegro

Legal consultant to Federal Intellectual Property Office in connection with a World Trade Organization Accession project.  Working periodically in Belgrade, Serbia beginning in July 2002 and continuing to 2004.  This work involved authoring a new trade secret law and revisions to trademark and copyright laws for Serbia-Montenegro.  In addition, the technical assistance consulting included training government officials, judges, and others regarding intellectual property protection.  This work was done as part of a SEGIR project and for purposes of assisting Serbia-Montenegro in connection with meeting World Trade Organization TRIPS (Trade Related Aspects of Intellectual Property) compliance requirements.
